Michelle was born and raised in Schaumburg, Illinois where she spent her childhood doing whatever her older siblings were doing including sliding headfirst into home plate… even in a dress. She had her first ‘TV show’ at about six years old making her brother record her in the living room. She graduated from Drake University in 2009 with a magazine journalism degree and quickly remembered she wanted to be a TV show host and enrolled at the Illinois Center for Broadcasting (now the Illinois Media Center) in Lombard, Illinois where she learned everything there is to know about radio and TV. Which is exactly what she does these days. Michelle is Midday Michelle on 97ZOK weekdays from 10am -3pm and hosts Good Day Stateline weekdays at 5:30pm on FOX39. In the few hours she’s not working, she likes to drink wine, eat chocolate and hang out with her nieces and nephews. A weekend with all three of those things is perfection.
