A native of Chicago’s northwest suburbs, Taylor is excited to start her career close to home. She joined Eyewitness News in June 2022, after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Taylor studied journalism, neuroscience psychology, public relations and sports media at Illinois. With a background in both competitive dance and pageantry, Taylor went from the stage to the sideline. She was a play-by-play broadcaster and sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network Student U Program, covering a variety of Illini athletic teams and multiple Big Ten Conference championships. Taylor has experience behind the camera with the University’s Department of Athletics, where she traveled with the women’s gymnastics team to cover their meets. She also worked as a sportswriter for 247 Sports and Prep Baseball Report.

An avid sports fan, reader, and crossword puzzle enthusiast, Taylor is always looking to learn and try new things in her free time.
